Mission
The St. Cecilia International Music Competition is an International Music Event by St. Cecilia School of Music in Australia. St. Cecilia Music International (HK) & Da Capo Music are appointed by the school to organize the competition in Hong Kong. The mission is to develop the music talents in Hong Kong through providing proper public performance opportunities and constructive assessments.
Background
St. Cecilia School of Music (www.st-cecilia.com.au) was founded by Mr. Matthews Tyson in 1970. Currently, the St Cecilia School of Music is internationally renowned for its excellence in music assessments, examining and teaching. In Australia, the school operates the yearly St. Cecilia Inter-School International Performance Challenge over 30 years, which is now a renowned yearly music festival in Australia. In Hong Kong, it is now a renowned as a popular festival for music students while the number of contestants is growing significantly yearly.
Deadline for Enrollment
Any enrollment for "The 26th St. Cecilia International Music Competition 2025" from now on until 30th August 2025 shall be valid. The mail date stamp is relevant.
